Temperament Barley is a honest, loyal dog who always tries to please. He excels in marking along with natural straight-lining ability. He is a true gentleman, like his father, with an extremely biddable attitude who learns all commands swiftly, retaining them in new environments without much need for repeat teaching. He is quiet in nature and has drive and style in abundance when working. Health Tested: Hips: 0:0, Elbows: 0:0, Eyes tested clear March 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021. DNA Clear for CNM, PRCD-PRA, EIC, SD2, HNPK. Trialling & Tests At 18months old Barley won his second working test, an open cold game test, he then went on the gain a 2nd in his second field trial at just 19months old in October 2021. In September 2022, Barley has gone on to win, for a consecutive year, the URC Lincs KC Open Cold Game Test. Following this, Barley WON the Midland Counties Labrador Retriever Club Novice Trial in November 2022. He is proving both consistent and driven in the field.
